We hosted a writing workshop with 15 students in grades 1-5 from Building One Community at Rogers International School in Stamford
We split into small groups and worked together to create original superheroes, developing their traits, powers, and backstories as a way to practice storytelling and creative thinking.
We loved seeing the students’ imaginative drawings, unique characters, and creative story ideas come to life. Most of all, we were grateful for the chance to get to know the kids and hear their voices through their stories.
Our founder, Kiki Taylor, and leadership team members Katie Siebel, Tami Tobun, and Lilly Feinberg loved being part of such a fun and creative workshop.
Thank you to B1C for welcoming us and supporting young writers.
