Hosting a writing workshop with students at Barbara’s House

Barbara's House

This July, Page Not Found had an amazing time hosting a writing workshop with the students at Barbara’s House.

With the lower schoolers, we worked on creative writing prompts, helping students imagine their own characters, settings, and stories. With the middle schoolers, we focused on poetry, using different prompts to explore voice, imagery, memory, and self expression.

A huge thank you to the kids for coming in so enthusiastic and ready to learn and for making this such an enjoyable experience. Their excitement truly brings something special to the room and makes this work so meaningful.

Thank you so much to Barbara‘s House for welcoming us and giving us the chance to spend time with such creative and thoughtful students.

A huge thank you to our leadership team and workshop facilitators, Kiki Taylor (founder and leadership team), Olivia Neuhauser, Tami Tobun, and Chelsea Chen, for helping lead and support the workshop and for all the care and energy they brought to working with the students.

We are so excited for the coming year and everything we have planned, and we cannot wait to keep building more opportunities like this together.

Everyone deserves the chance to write, create, and tell their own story.
